Schaefer offers an adhesive wax for use as a paste-up wax in wax coating machines or for industrial and aerospace applications such as temporary location of gaskets. CW5 adhesive wax is a soft adhesive wax with a high tack that will bond parts in place with little pressure, but is removable to allow repositioning of the sheet or part a number of times. It replaces both Schaefer #7 wax and Schaefer Supreme wax. CW5 wax is pale yellow to amber in color and is supplied in blocks that are 2 ½ x 1 ½ x 1” in size. It is packaged in 10 lb cartons with strips of wax cut into blocks, and release paper between the layers of wax. It is also available in 58 lb cartons. CW5 wax meets P+W approved Spec #9464-1 |
